Nutcracker

Nutcracker (also known as twemproxy) is a lightweight proxy for memcached and Redis. It was primarily built to reduce the connection count between web servers and backend hosts.

- Provisioned by Puppet (nutcracker module, and mediawiki::nutcracker).
- Monitored by Icinga.
- Logs are not stored. (?)
Usage
Installed on Application servers, Changeprop pods, Thumbor pods and API Gateway pods.
