Legalpad access restricted?

The process described on this page leads to a page which is restricted? Why is the legalpad link leading to a locked document? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 20after4 (talkcontribs) 21:14, 30 August 2016‎ (UTC)

20after4 Probably to prevent accidental signatures to the document. Does Legalpad allow to see a document without signing it? If so, I don't think reading the document should be restricted. Maybe posting a copy of the text here would be alright, unless it contains private data? MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:07, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
@Slaporte: Possibly you can briefly advise whether the text of phab:L2 could be posted somewhere public, or something similar? Thanks :) Quiddity (talk) 01:04, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
I'm also interested in reading and adapting and sharing the phab:L2 NDA because I'm trying to contribute in the security hardening of local Wikimedia chapters like m:Wikimedia CH and m:Wikimedia Italia but other Wikimedia chapters may be interested as well in a good NDA to organize the management of volunteering in an infrastructure, instead of relying only in good faith like we see in lot of small cultural associations. BTW the feature of User:MarcoAurelio is interesting but currently not supported by any "who can firm?" dedicated permission available in Legalpad (even if Legalpad could be surely improved by our amazing Phabrilovers like I've seen in phab:T258599).
Having said that IMHO:
  • a copy of that document could be published (→ somewhere, e.g. here in Wikitech) and released under a free license to be adapted to other Wikimedia chapters
  • and/or phab:L2 could be set as public and anyone should be able to sign it, while we could just avoid to throw the castle keys to anyone who signs that document! O:)
(If it is not possible to discuss this here, I would like to be put in touch with those who have the opportunity.) --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 16:34, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
