About me

I have a Physics background and in the last decade I've been mixing Software and Systems Engineering work across different companies from small startup to large corporations. I was born and raised in Italy, living mostly abroad in the last years. I'm usually based in the CET timezone.

My work

I'm a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in the Wikimedia Foundation's Site Reliability Engineering team. I'm primarily focused in developing tools to automate and orchestrate the production infrastructure of the Foundation within the Infrastructure Foundations subteam.

About me

I've been working as an Engineering Manager and Project Manager in the IT industry for the last 14+ years, serving areas with a focus on an array of different segments: DevOps, Cloud (SaaS, PaaS), Backend, Mobile, Data Engineering, and Sustaining Engineering.

I've had the opportunity to both drive and contribute to numerous projects, having a significant impact on the organizations I supported, flawlessly moving across complex DevOps experiences to high-scale Cloud services, taking pride in those ventures that succeeded, and taking away the hard lessons from those that didn't.

I've been solving scalability, availability, performance, and organizational puzzles along the way, wearing different hats from Project Manager to People Leader, creating both product and engineering roadmaps, often at the same time. I've been supporting organizations in managing projects, programs, and backlogs while helping my teams on their path to personal and professional growth, empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals while building cultures and growing healthy, focused teams with a strong sense of ownership.

My work

Managing Wikimedia Foundation's Site Reliability Engineering team.
