Welcome to Tool Labs!

Hello Lebronj23, welcome to the Tool Labs project! Your request for access was processed and you should be able to login now via ssh at login.tools.wmflabs.org. To get started, check the help page and the migrating from the Toolserver page. You can also ask in our IRC channel at #wikimedia-labs connect or send an e-mail to our mailing list labs-l@lists.wikimedia.org – thank you, and have fun using Tools! valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 15:51, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Merlijn van Deen: I finally had some time to try to connect, but unfortunately after inserting the ssh public key, I tried to log in via PuTTY but it does not work, so I do not know exactly what I am doing wrong (Fatal error: Disconnected: no supported authentification methods available (server sent: publickey, host based). --Lebronj23 (talk) 11:53, 20 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Please see Help:Access_to_ToolLabs_instances_with_PuTTY_and_WinSCP for information on how to use PuTTY. If this doesn't work, please explain which settings you used. The error suggests your private key is not being used. valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 17:46, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
After reviewing the login log: make sure to use your shell name 'lebronj23' (case-sensitive!) rather than 'Lebronj23'. valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 17:49, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks @Merlijn van Deen: for the link it worked now! --Lebronj23 (talk) 16:08, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Merlijn van Deen:Maybe one more question, now that I created the tool (refswikipedia), I did not find any help page which explains how I can upload my files. Thanks again for your support! --Lebronj23 (talk) 20:28, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Please see Help:Tool_Labs#Using_Tool_Labs_and_managing_your_files. If you're on Windows, see Help:Access_to_ToolLabs_instances_with_PuTTY_and_WinSCP specifically. valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 12:39, 29 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
