"Set up your computer" missing ssh public key upload instructions

The current section implies that setting up an ssh key for gerrit and Cloud VPS use is the same, but it misses that these two systems both need to be told which ssh public keys to expect. Maybe Help:Access#Prerequisites is the only instruction we have on this step today? Toolsadmin also includes a prompt for this for new accounts, but I'm not sure if this tutorial should rely on that prompt. --BryanDavis (talk) 18:13, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

@BryanDavis: I'm not sure if I understand correctly, what you mean. Could you please explain it once more? --Dvorapa (talk) 18:03, 8 March 2019 (UTC) --Dvorapa (talk) 18:04, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Dvorapa: your current tutorial says "This is already done if you have used Gerrit before as the same steps applies to both." After re-reading again I do see that you describe uploading the public key to wikitech, but I think this sentence is confusing. It applies to the ssh key generation, but not the complete process described in this section of the tutorial. --BryanDavis (talk) 16:41, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@BryanDavis: I see, I was close with my guess, I guess. But I don't much understand the sentence you added. I'll try to rephrase it for novices a little, once I'll try it and find out, what is the core message you want to add. Anyway, thank you! :) --Dvorapa (talk) 22:45, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@BryanDavis: Should I understand you edits, that login already points to login-stretch? Was there an e-mail about this? I'm still waiting for such information. --Dvorapa (talk) 22:46, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Dvorapa: see [Cloud-announce] Toolforge: Bastion changes and Trusty deprecation final steps for the announce of the login.tools.wmflabs.org bastion change. The actual change was logged to the server admin log on 2019-03-07 at 23:31 UTC. --BryanDavis (talk) 00:15, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I got this e-mail. It says "Week of 2019-03-04". I understand it that it will be working for sure since today. --Dvorapa (talk) 10:37, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
