- When you got assigned to a project
- 0) Terminal > get your public key :
- $ gedit ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub (or similiar)
- 1) Wikitech.wikimedia.org > Login
- 2) . > Preferences > Open Stack > Add your public key
- 3) . > Preferences > User profile > Instance shell account name : copy value
- 4) Terminal > ssh into our server:
- $ ssh <username>@login.toolforge.org -y # must accept
- $ become wikiatlas2014
- End website
- URL files access
- in the lab's terminal >
- PWD=pwd > copy the pwd path
- $ ls > see all files, copy the file name + extension
- in local terminal >
- $ scp -r "login.tools.toolforge.org:/<path>/<file.ext>" /your/localPC/dir/
