Talk:Deployment pipeline
Documenting
User:Jforrester and User:Lars Wirzenius -- I am currently working as a technical writer on a project to improve the documentation for the pipeline. There's more info and some drafts on my user page. I wanted to communicate with you about this and any related articles you have touched re: the pipeline. I'd like to flesh this page out more, and if you have any notes or concerns about the direction of the page, I'd love to hear back so we can work together to get it into good shape. ~ Martyav (talk) 20:37, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Martyav: Great to hear from you! This is meant to be the main starting place for all the wiki pages about our work, but as you can see it's very incomplete. :-) My main concern with this page is to make it a good enough entry point that it's actionable for people who have a specific ask ("How can I start a new service?", "When will this change how my specific code is deployed?") and also as a general and pretty light ease-in for people just curious about our work. Please, go ahead! If you would like to meet to talk about this I'd be very happy to make time. Jforrester (talk) 16:58, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Jforrester: Yeah, having a meeting about this page would be very helpful! I don't yet have an official Wikimedia email account, but presumably yours is jforrester at wikimedia.org? I can send you a Hangouts invite to meet next week, any day after the US federal holiday on Monday. ~ Martyav (talk) 18:13, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Sure. I'm around most of 08:00–16:00 SF time, and I can shuffle meetings as needed. Jforrester (talk) 18:16, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

"the previous deployment pipeline mechanism"
Are there actually more things using Kokkuri than PipelineLib now? I have been operating under the assumption that as long as Gerrit lives PipelineLib will as well. Is that a faulty assumption? -- BryanDavis (talk) 22:03, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
