mobile.wikipedia.org was a WAP gateway for accessing Wikipedia content.

Hardware

• via text squids (wap_domains)
• to ekrem (previously anthony then yongle)

Software

• On anthony it was running with FastCGI, separate unix user and safe mode jail, but now on ekrem it's just plain apache+php
• hawhaw/hawpedia-based gateway
  • This code doesn't currently handle magic_quotes_gpc yet. Make sure it's disabled in php.ini or searches and articles containing ' or " won't work properly.

Languages

Fully supported languages include

• uk, sr, sv, pt, pl, no, nl, hu, it, fr, es, en, de, & ar

Partially supported languages (where searches are possible but results are in English)

• he, ru, & bo

Activity

• /var/log/apache/access - for mobile.
• /var/log/other_vhosts_access.log - for wap.
