Running processes on tools-login

Hello!

I found a perl process of yours running for quite a while on tools-login taking up CPU. I've killed it. Please use the Grid to submit and run your jobs. This ensures that tools-login is responsive for other users too.

Thanks! yuvipanda (talk) 07:03, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Yuvipanda: Thanks for the information. :) From my understanding, the grid behaves much like nohup or background job process(with &) since it prints stdout and stderr to separate files. As my Perl application involves a responsive navigation menu, it doen't seem to work with the grid as of now. However, I can modify the bot program to work with one-liner parameters so that it can be compatible with the grid that you suggested. --Ykhwong (talk) 21:31, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
