Welcome to Tool Labs

Hello Jarallah, welcome to the Tool Labs project! Your request for access was processed and you should be able to login now via ssh at login.tools.wmflabs.org. To get started, check the help page and the migrating from the Toolserver page. You can also ask in our IRC channel at #wikimedia-labs connect or send an e-mail to our mailing list labs-l@lists.wikimedia.org – thank you, and have fun using Tools! Access request for Jarallah_II

Jarallah the access request you created at Nova_Resource:Tools/Access_Request/Jarallah_II is a bit confusing. If you are wanting to create a new tool account to host a bot or tool, please use the self-service form at Special:NovaServiceGroup. You do not need a new Wikitech account or additional access to Tool Labs to do this. If you get stuck and need additional help creating a new tool account, please ping me or join #wikimedia-labs connect and ask for assistance there. --BryanDavis (talk) 16:38, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Access problems

Please do not leave support questions in random places :-). We have a help page for PuTTY; have you looked there already? I do not use PuTTY myself, but I think that "Server refused our key; Using keyboard-interactive authentication." means that the private key you have configured in PuTTY does not match the public key you registered here on wikitech. I guess a radical solution for that problem, for example if you no longer have the original key files, would be to generate a new key pair with PuTTYgen, upload the public key here on wikitech and configure the private one in PuTTY. But as I said, I do not use PuTTY and so my advice is from a far distance. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 15:31, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
