Blockcalc?

Hi, C-M,

what's the status of your blockcalc tool? It landed on the list of most-missed tools after toolserver shutdown. So your users would appreciate to see it back online working. Could you give us an update please?

For some reason the webservice got turned of without me noticing it - it is back on now. Nevertheless that is annoying, happened the second time now and I have no idea what I can do about it. C-M (talk) 12:38, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for letting me know about the tool! From what I heard, the ops are adding more resources to Tool Labs because the last minute migrations led to problems. So hopefully this is a temporary issue. Cheers, smeyer (talk) 12:42, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
The webservice is not working again. Can you please look into it? – gifti (talk) 21:26, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Most of the time the service is not running for me (https://tools.wmflabs.org/blockcalc does not give any response ). What could be the reason? Is there an alternative at labs? Should we build one? -- Seth (talk) 12:42, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have restarted the web service which was hanging for some reason I did not investigate. If I correctly understand the purpose of the tool, I think a JavaScript gadget that enhances the relevant special pages (Special:Block, etc.) would be useful. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 13:26, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Blockcalc is down

Blockcalc gives a 504 error. Can you look into this? Mbch331 (talk) 08:43, 10 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

blockcalc review

Hi, we're doing a review to make sure as many tools meet a minimum standard. I noticed blockcalc doesn't have a description, licence or a published repo. Could you add these information to this tool? Thanks! Komla Sapaty (talk) 16:01, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
