Project Name: SisterSearch

Purpose: For development, we need a vanilla MediaWiki instance with a development and debugging environment to minimize platform issues

Wikitech username of requestor: Gryllida

Brief description: Interface to expose inter-project search results on every page, to improve UX, cross-wiki reader and editor engagement. Current search appears on every page as a text entry box with a magnifying lens 'button' (with a double click search function.) Proposal is for a configurable (user preference? project-/site-wide?) change to this interface:

1. A full-width search interface including tabs for sister projects

   Tabs would be greyed or coloured if the current page title exists on the sister project.

2. A full-width search interface with preceding drop-down for sister projects

   Dropdown items would be greyed or coloured if the current page title exists on the sister project.

3. Adding a drop-down button preceding the current search box for sister projects.

   Possibly 75% transparency clickable sister project favicon hovering below search box if page title exists.
