Twitter

The process for Twitter is rather convoluted. When identi.ca worked, there was this fantastic thing called groups (which werdna quickly subscribed to after I asked) and you could just do "!log !Wikipedia / !Wikimedia down, working on it". Now however, if you can think quickly of a tweet, you can do "!log @Wikimedia down, working on it": is someone closely following the mentions there? --Nemo 13:22, 10 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Should "sysadmin" be SRE?

Is this WMF-specific? Would anyone other than SREs be in the sysadmin role?

It's not a WMF-specific term, but I do think it is a dated term, from when this group was called Ops instead of SRE. We should update it. CDanis 18:05, 1 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
