monthly aggregates merged by Wikidata
I would like to use the pageview data for ranking objects on a map. For this I could need an aggregate over a month or more to reduce the noise. For me it would be additionally interessting to merge over all Wikipedia articles in different languages with an common Wikidata entry. I have over 4 Mio articles in my database so a dump file would be faster than tons of request to an API. In the moment I use for ranking the maximal length of an article, it works but seem not to be the best solution. Is this possible? --kolossos (talk) 18:33, 6 January 2016 (UTC),@Nemo bis, Mforns:

link to source
Can you add a link to the repo where the source code is? Thanks! Bgerstle (talk)
That seems to be analytics/aqs (and, confusingly, not analytics/pageview-api). --tgr (talk) 01:30, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
Viewing monthly stats?
For big Wikipedias, looking at stats by day is probably worthwhile, for wikis of lesser size, that may not be the best way to look at data. How can one pull data for a month, rather than a day? Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 05:56, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Eventually I worked it out, the data to do this is somewhat buried, and a little obtuse. I have added an example to the main. — billinghurst sDrewth 06:03, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

More than 1000 articles in most viewed list?
I'm trying to compile an offline version of the Spanish Wikipedia and would like to get the top 20 or 30,000 articles (space is limited, cant fit all 1.3 million). Is there a way to get more than the 1,000 most viewed articles? Nixcamic (talk) 06:43, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
Top pageviews one yeah, all-months, all-days?
I'm looking through the docs for most viewed articles, but it seems to require at the very least year AND month - only day can be * with "all-days". Is there any way of finding the most viewed articles for an entire year? (i.e. "all-months/all-days") --Metalindustrien (talk) 18:17, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Country pageviews by project?
We have Project pageviews by country, e.g. for skwiki:
- https://stats.wikimedia.org/#/sk.wikipedia.org/reading/page-views-by-country/normal%7Ctable%7C2021-12-01~2021-12-31%7C(access)~desktop*mobile-app*mobile-web%7Cmonthly
- https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/metrics/pageviews/top-by-country/sk.wikipedia/all-access/2021/12
In the past however, there was also an "inverse" aggregation available, i.e. Country pageviews by project, e.g. for Slovakia:
It used to be quite useful data source, is something like that still available somewhere, or was it dropped for some reason? --Teslaton (talk) 09:47, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
