2016Dickson, i.e. dickson.wikimedia.org or dickson.freenode.net, was the Wikimedia-hosted IRC server for Freenode. As of October 2013 it was not yet widely advertised and used mainly by Toolforge bots, etc. It was later added to the freenode public list of servers. It was later compromised along other freenode servers, as detected on September 2014. Initially kept for forensic investigation, it was decided to decommission it on 2016-08-03. In 2017, providing freenode with a new server was declined.
