Notes on migration of Editor-engagement machines following Labs Eqiad Migration/Howto

spage E2 instances used by Flow team

New instance mwui.eqiad.wmflabs has /data/projects/glustercopy with git_files dated Feb 25 20:02, seems up-to-date compared with /data/projects/git_files . But then I updated some files anyway.

I couldn't ssh from eqiad back to pmtpa, either security or insufficient ssh -A stuff.

`sudo puppetd -tv` failed, "already running", took a long time to complete.

Created new small instance in eqiad with labs-vagrant role. I had to recreate /home/vagrant (known issue), and kept getting chmod: changing permissions of `.': Read-only file system (known issue, had to reboot twice until it went away). A couple of labs-vagrant provision errors (bugzilla:63052, bugzilla:63054)

Checked in a few stray git files, tar'd it up, kept getting "File has changed". Known issue, maybe atime handling.

still have to backup and restore ee-flow-extra, and set up its shared DB.
