Wikitech:Username policy

Developer account usernames are commonly either the same as your Wikimedia global account username or your real name (e.g. "Jimmy Wales").

There is no requirement that Wikimedia Foundation or affiliate organization staff add a "(WMF)" or similar designation to their developer account name. Having a single developer account identity that is used for both paid and volunteer work is acceptable.
