  • Tier 1 - Production
    • ex. LVS, WebSevers, DB's, etc
    • Response Window - Immediate
    • On Call - Required
    • Monitoring - Required
    • Puppet - Required
    • Support Team - OPS?
  • Tier 2 - Production Support Services
    • ex. Analytics Cluster, jobs that feed analytics data back into Tier 1 services.
    • Response Window - 48 - 96 hrs
    • On Call - None, can be repaired in normal work hours
    • Monitoring - Required
    • Puppet - Required
    • Support Team - Analytics
  • Tier 3 - Production Beta
    • ex. Maps, WDQS
    • Response Window - 24 - 48 hrs
    • On Call - Optional?
    • Monitoring - Required?
    • Puppet - Required
    • Support Team - Dev Team
  • Tier 4 - Labs
    • ex. Labs Tools
    • Response Window - None
    • On Call - None
    • Monitoring Optional
    • Puppet - Optional
    • Support Team - None
