Swahili Sister Update Alerts is a read-only Toolforge dashboard for editors on Swahili Wikipedia.
What it does
- Follows a seed list of Wikidata topics that exist in both English and Swahili
- Flags when the English article was edited more recently than the Swahili one (with simple day and byte thresholds)
- Links to both articles and to the English diff since the last Swahili edit
This is a signal, not a verdict. Editors decide what to update. The tool does not edit Wikipedia.
How to use
- Open https://sw-sister-alerts.toolforge.org/
- Review rows marked “needs check”
- Open the English and Swahili pages (and the EN diff) and update Swahili if needed
