Reducing burden in TOC

I feel there's a number of headings that can be removed to help with the article flow - Single-sentence sections tend to clog things.

Some example headings that could simply be removed to improve the flow:

• Introduction subheadings "What?" and "When?"
• Impact's "What does read-only mean?"
• High Level switchover flow's "Scheduling details" (and promoting the subheadings)

Creation of Switch Datacenter/History

The Past Switches section is getting quite large - I propose that we move the contents of that to a subpage. BCornwall-WMF (talk) 15:42, 21 August 2026 (UTC)

Creation of "#External links section

The Beginning section has a {{see}} to some really old blog posts - I think they'd be better served at the bottom with other external links. Maybe combine the monitoring dashboards and the blog posts into a singular "External links" section? BCornwall-WMF (talk) 15:48, 21 August 2026 (UTC)

This page exists primarily for the SRE folks, and maybe the occasional new manager who wants to know what's going on. If old blog posts are not particularly useful for the expected audience, then the links could be removed (including posting them on this page).
