• ingress-nginx replacement
  • Some traffic is now going via Istio
  • Timeout for backends is not yet going via fourohfour as was done with nginx. May pivot to trapping the error in haproxy.
  • DC: can we do the 404 page in haproxy?
  • BD: how can I help?
    • TV: has a script to hunt for things that need a migration outside of webservice
    • TV: has another script to hunt for namespaces that don't have the new object yet

• buildpacks upgrades
  • DC: php buildpack died last week because it is very old. Accelerating migration to next versions as a result.
  • DC: next week we will add the feature flag for sticking on the legacy and main will become the newer packs.
  • BD: the Apt buildpack changes are likely to catch some folks out.
