• ingress-nginx replacement
  • Going away next month, need to move to something else
  • Taavi is looking into it, will write something in phabricator later
  • All development seems to be focused on the new k8s gateway api or istio with custom
  • Seems reasonable to go with the "native" k8s gateway instead, looking into the native version of https://istio.io/latest/docs/tasks/traffic-management/ingress/ingress-control/
  • Bd808 has a golang tool written that it works (except when it does not), to do proxying and redirection
  • Some edge cases that might not be that blocking
  • Might find some time with taavi to look into the edge cases, and maybe go forward even without those fixed

    • Completed populating the list of tools with published repos
