MariaDB host decommissioning helper:
- Performs safety checks before decommissioning
- Tracks task creation and Puppet patches
- Depools the target host
- Removes it from Zarcillo and Orchestrator
- Updates associated Phab task and handoff to DC-Ops

sre.mysql.depool
Depools a MariaDB database instance or host from active traffic using dbctl
- Detects special sections like pc* where the whole section needs depooling
- Optionally add Icinga/AlertManager downtime
This cookbook is for all SREs.
sre.mysql.global-read-only
Sets or unsets sections flag tor read-only:
- Idempotent operation that updates dbctl
- Also executes
SET GLOBAL read_only=...directly on MariaDB instances - Updates tracking details in Phabricator

Configures MariaDB replication between a master and replica:
- Stops replication on the destination (replica) instance
- Executes the
CHANGE MASTER ...query - Restarts replication on the replica without modifying the master host
