utf8 vs utf8mb4?
Is it correct to refer to utf8_general_ci in Help:Toolforge/Database#Java, rather than utf8mb4_general_ci, with the useOldUTF8Behavior flag enabled? I am concerned that this may limit users to the Basic Multilingual Plane. greenreaper (talk) 00:20, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
